The deal adds ACS's 43-person team and four Southeastern locations to Applied's automation offerings to expand capabilities, cross-sell solutions, and deepen presence in life sciences, packaging & logistics, industrial manufacturing, and automotive end markets.

Wabtec Acquires ARINC Rail Solutions Business from Collins Aerospace

Wabtec Corporation has acquired Collins Aerospace’s ARINC rail solutions business segment to expand its digital and electronics portfolio for rail optimization; financial terms were not disclosed. The ARINC rail solutions business provides dispatch, back-office, PTC integration, customer information, cybersecurity and life-cycle management services for transit, regional, inter-city, commuter, subway and light rail systems across the U.S. and Canada.

The deal — ONDEX's fourth acquisition since April 2024 — expands ONDEX's machine vision, barcode reading, robotics, motion control, and PLC programming capabilities across medical devices, life sciences, food & beverage, logistics, and general industrial markets.
