STG Logistics, a Wind Point Partners portfolio company, has acquired International Warehouse Services, Inc. (IWS), a Port Everglades-based provider of warehousing, trucking, brokerage, customs clearance and distribution services. The acquisition expands STG's footprint into the Port Everglades / Fort Lauderdale market and adds customs examination station and USDA inspection capabilities to STG's platform.

West Star is a leading independent provider of MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) services to the business aviation industry with primary locations in East Alton, Illinois; Grand Junction, Colorado; Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Perryville, Missouri.

STG Logistics Acquires XPO Logistics' Intermodal Division

STG Logistics, a Wind Point Partners portfolio company, acquired the intermodal division of XPO Logistics and will operate the combined business as STG Logistics. The transaction created a vertically integrated port-to-door containerized logistics provider and was accompanied by a recapitalization of STG by Wind Point and funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management; financing was led by Antares Capital and other lenders.

Atlas Holdings Acquires International Wire Group Holdings

Atlas Holdings LLC has acquired International Wire Group Holdings, Inc. (IWG), a Camden, New York–headquartered manufacturer of engineered copper-based wire products. The deal brings IWG’s ~1,600+ employees and 17 manufacturing facilities into Atlas’ industrial manufacturing portfolio; Gregory J. Smith was named IWG President & CEO as part of the transition.

The add-on strengthens Quantix's Southeast footprint and establishes its ISO tank platform, building on Wind Point's value-creation plan for Quantix.
