Compass Precision Acquires Gray Manufacturing Technologies

Compass Precision, a portfolio company of Main Street Capital Holdings, acquired Gray Manufacturing Technologies, a Denver, North Carolina-based precision metal components manufacturer serving space, aerospace and defense markets. The deal is an add-on acquisition to Compass Precision intended to expand manufacturing capabilities, increase 5-axis machining capacity, and broaden customer relationships across aerospace, space and medical end-markets.

Compass Partners Acquires Micro Precision LLC

Compass Partners Capital LLC, a Stamford-based investment firm focused on defense and aerospace, has completed the acquisition of Micro Precision LLC (MPI), a South Windham, Connecticut-based supplier of critical parts and mechanical assemblies to the U.S. submarine program. Compass said the investment will support MPI's growth and expansion of manufacturing capabilities to better serve prime submarine contractors and the U.S. Department of Defense.

Bergeron, founded in 1948, operates a 14,700 sq ft facility with about 25 employees and ~30 CNC machines servicing semiconductor, aerospace, and defense customers; the acquisition is an add-on to expand Compass's manufacturing capabilities and geographic presence.
