Comstar Technologies Acquires Comtel VoIP, Inc.

Comstar Technologies, a West Chester, Pennsylvania-based provider of telecommunications, managed IT, physical security, and audio-visual solutions, has acquired Comtel VoIP, Inc., a Tonawanda, New York-based hosted telephony provider. The acquisition expands Comstar's footprint in Pennsylvania and Western New York and broadens Comtel's solution portfolio beyond voice while keeping Comtel operating under its current name.

New Era Technology Acquires Comstar Technologies from Wincove Private Holdings

New Era Technology, a global IT managed services provider, has acquired Comstar Technologies, a West Chester, Pennsylvania-based provider of cloud-based phone systems, managed IT services, network infrastructure and cabling, and building systems integration. The seller was Wincove Private Holdings, which had recapitalized Comstar in 2017 and supported several acquisitions as the company shifted toward recurring cloud-based services.

Beacon Communications LLC, a Littleton, Colorado–based critical communications and security provider, has acquired Comtel Systems Technology, a family-owned communications and security systems integrator serving Northern California. The deal brings Comtel's ~87 employees and expertise in healthcare, education and commercial systems into Beacon's platform to expand its capabilities and presence in Northern California.
