Nautic Partners Makes Growth Investment in SPS Health

Nautic Partners has made a strategic growth investment in SPS Health to support the company's continued investment in technology, clinical and operational solutions for post-acute pharmacies and PBMs. The capital from Nautic (from its tenth fund) will help SPS expand its technology-enabled offerings and broaden its reach across long-term care, behavioral health, correctional and other specialty pharmacy markets.

Nautic Partners Acquires Aurora Plastics

Nautic Partners has completed the acquisition of Aurora Plastics, a Streetsboro, Ohio-based producer of PVC and custom polymer compounds, in partnership with Aurora management. The seller parties were Wind Point Partners and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board; financing for the deal was led by Antares Capital and Carlyle Global Credit, and Nautic says it will support Aurora's growth and pursue acquisitions in the fragmented specialty compounds market.

The Jordan Company Acquires Spartech from Nautic Partners

The Jordan Company completed the acquisition of Spartech, a Maryland Heights, Missouri-based manufacturer of engineered thermoplastics and custom packaging solutions. Nautic Partners will remain a minority shareholder, and TJC said the investment will support Spartech's organic growth and strategic acquisitions while adding industry veteran Andy Brewer as Executive Chairman.

Spartech Acquires Tufpak, Inc.

Spartech, a St. Louis-based plastics manufacturer and portfolio company of Nautic Partners, has acquired Tufpak, Inc., an Ossipee, New Hampshire-based maker of medical-grade engineered plastic films and autoclave/biohazard bags. The deal expands Spartech's healthcare and biopharma packaging capabilities by adding Tufpak's proprietary polypropylene blown film extrusion technology and product lines.

Nautic Partners Acquires Harrington Industrial Plastics

Monomoy Capital Partners Acquires Sportech, Inc.

Monomoy Capital Partners has acquired Sportech, Inc., a Minnesota-based designer and manufacturer of cab components and thermoformed plastic assemblies for powersports, golf & turf, industrial and agriculture OEMs. Sportech operates three facilities in Minnesota and employs about 325 people; Monomoy said it will partner with management to drive continued operational and financial improvement.
