Thoma Bravo completed its acquisition of Nearmap Ltd in an all-cash scheme of arrangement valued at approximately AUD 1.055 billion. Nearmap, an Australian location-intelligence and aerial imagery provider, will be taken private to accelerate global growth—particularly in North America—leveraging Thoma Bravo's sector expertise, operating capabilities and capital support.

Nearmap Acquires Betterview

Nearmap has signed an agreement to acquire Betterview, a property-intelligence and risk-management platform that applies AI and computer vision to aerial imagery for insurance underwriting and claims. The deal will combine Nearmap's high-resolution imagery and geospatial tools with Betterview's AI-driven property attributes to expand capabilities and accelerate product development for insurance customers; financial terms were not disclosed and closing is subject to customary conditions.

GTCR Acquires Global Claims Services

Chicago-based private equity firm GTCR has closed its acquisition of Global Claims Services (GCS), a Jacksonville, Florida–headquartered InsurTech that provides mobile-first building component evaluation and claims decision-support tools to P&C carriers. GTCR will partner with GCS management and commit incremental equity to support organic growth and M&A activity as it scales GCS’s technology-enabled, data-driven solutions.

Ontellus Acquires INTERTEL and MasterTrace

Ontellus, a Houston-based records retrieval and claims management provider backed by Aquiline Capital Partners and The CapStreet Group, has acquired INTERTEL and MasterTrace to create the largest national medical canvassing company. The deal integrates INTERTEL and MasterTrace's canvassing capabilities into Ontellus’s cloud-based records platform, enabling insurers and law firms to more seamlessly discover and procure historical medical records for claims investigation and fraud detection.

iQSTEL Acquires 51% Stake in QXTEL

iQSTEL Inc. has entered into a binding agreement to acquire 51% of the capital stock of QXTEL, a wholesale telecommunications provider with offices across Miami, London, Buenos Aires, Istanbul, Belgrade and Dubai. Management said the deal nearly doubles iQSTEL's revenue, brings new wholesale carrier customers and executive talent, and will be integrated to drive operating efficiencies and margin expansion.

Nortal Acquires Nearsure

Nortal has acquired U.S.-based Nearsure, a technology solutions provider with talent across Latin America, to accelerate Nortal's expansion across the Americas and strengthen its AI, low-code and enterprise delivery capabilities. Nearsure—which employs more than 600 technology professionals—will merge with Nortal’s U.S. operations and rebrand in 2025, enabling expanded nearshore delivery for clients in healthcare, government, financial services and other sectors.
