NetApp acquired Data Mechanics, a Paris-based managed platform provider for Apache Spark on Kubernetes, integrating its team and IP into the Spot by NetApp portfolio to accelerate NetApp's Spot Wave capabilities for cloud analytics and ML workloads. Financial terms were not disclosed.
