Kraken Acquires NinjaTrader for $1.5 Billion

Kraken has entered into an agreement to acquire NinjaTrader, the U.S. retail futures trading platform, in a deal valued at $1.5 billion subject to purchase price adjustments. NinjaTrader is majority-backed by Long Ridge Equity Partners and is expected to continue operating as a standalone platform under Kraken’s suite of trading and payments applications.

smartTrade Group Acquires TickTrade Systems Inc.
