North Hudson Resource Partners Acquires Hawthorne Energy (HWN)

North Hudson Resource Partners LP (and affiliated funds) acquired Hawthorne Energy LLC, operating in Canada through wholly owned subsidiary HWN Energy Ltd. The deal excludes a subset of HWN’s southern Cardium-focused assets that were spun out prior to close. HWN will continue to be led by its existing management team, including CEO John Oberg and SVP of Engineering Marc Shatzer.
