Northleaf Capital Partners has committed an initial C$100 million to Shared Tower to accelerate the company's build-out of carrier‑neutral telecommunications infrastructure across Canada. Shared Tower, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Oakville, Ontario, will use the capital to scale its network and serve existing and new customers; Northleaf was advised by CIBC Capital Markets and Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg.

The deal — terms confidential — expands PTI's U.S. tower portfolio ahead of 5G deployments; Tower Ventures is a Memphis, Tennessee–based tower operator previously owned by its management team with an investment from BBH Capital Partners.

Phoenix Tower International Acquires Cellnex's Irish Business for €971M

Phoenix Tower International (PTI) has completed the acquisition of 100% of Cellnex Telecom’s business in Ireland for approximately €971 million, acquiring roughly 1,900 wireless sites and becoming the largest tower owner in Ireland. The deal expands PTI’s European footprint and was completed with advisory support (Nomura and Arthur Cox) to PTI.

Stonepeak to Acquire TeleTower From Bitė Group (Providence Portfolio Company)

Stonepeak agreed to acquire TeleTower, Bitė Group’s towers business in Lithuania and Latvia. The transaction is expected to close in Q2 2026 and is intended to create the first fully independent tower company in the Baltics, supported by a long-term commercial partnership with Bitė for further tower rollouts and 5G expansion.

Macquarie Asset Management to Acquire IHS Towers’ South American Wireless Tower Operations

Macquarie Asset Management, on behalf of a privately managed infrastructure fund, agreed to acquire IHS Towers’ South American wireless tower operations. The deal covers more than 8,500 tower sites in Brazil and 270 sites in Colombia, with closing expected later in 2026 subject to conditions.
