Pallet Logistics of America (PLA), a portfolio company of Silver Oak Services Partners, has acquired TaylorMade Pallets & Logistics, a family-owned pallet manufacturer and logistics provider based in San Antonio, Texas. The add-on expands PLA's asset-based footprint to 77 facilities and strengthens its pallet manufacturing, remanufacturing, and regional logistics capabilities in South Texas.

Pallet Logistics of America (PLA), a Silver Oak Services Partners portfolio company, has acquired Propak, a national provider of 3PL, reverse logistics, warehousing, transportation and freight brokerage services. The deal adds Propak's 60+ locations and roughly 1,700 employees to PLA, transforming PLA from a western U.S. pallet manager into a national supply chain solutions provider and expanding its service capabilities and footprint.

The acquisition expands 48forty's presence and capacity in Southern California; terms were not disclosed.

PLS Logistics Services Acquires D&L Transport

PLS Logistics Services, a technology-driven third-party logistics provider based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, has acquired D&L Transport, a freight brokerage headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. D&L will operate as an independent subsidiary with Brian DeFrain remaining president, and PLS expects the transaction to increase its annual revenue run rate to $950 million (with a projected ~$1.2 billion in 2022).

48forty Solutions, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has acquired Oregon Pallet Repair, Inc., Bailey Pallet, LLC, and Oregon Wood Fibre Recycling, LLC (together “Oregon Pallet”). The deal adds regional pallet recycling, remanufacturing and wood-recycling capabilities (headquartered in Salem, Oregon with an additional facility in Boise, Idaho) as an add-on to 48forty’s national pallet management platform.

Palladium Equity Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Source Logistics

Palladium will invest alongside the company's founders, who will remain in leadership, and plans to support growth through organic investment and add-on M&A while leveraging Source Logistics’ 12 facilities and more than 2.3 million square feet across four states.
