ShipCalm, an e-commerce operations platform and third-party logistics provider, has acquired River Source Logistics to expand its fulfillment capacity and third-party logistics capabilities. The deal more than doubles ShipCalm’s customer base, adds substantially larger warehouse capacity (including Los Angeles and Indiana footprints), and will enable cost savings and improved West Coast scale for ShipCalm’s customers.

Source Logistics Acquires LaGrou Distribution Warehousing Business

Source Logistics has acquired LaGrou Distribution's warehousing business in Northeast Illinois, adding eight Chicago-area facilities and over 2 million square feet of refrigerated and frozen storage to its platform. The deal expands Source Logistics' national network into the Midwest (bringing its footprint to 23 locations and 5+ million sq ft) and introduces cold-chain capabilities to its service offering; LaGrou's non-warehousing and transportation divisions remain with prior owners.

Pallet Logistics of America (PLA), a portfolio company of Silver Oak Services Partners, has acquired TaylorMade Pallets & Logistics, a family-owned pallet manufacturer and logistics provider based in San Antonio, Texas. The add-on expands PLA's asset-based footprint to 77 facilities and strengthens its pallet manufacturing, remanufacturing, and regional logistics capabilities in South Texas.

Clearlake Capital Acquires PrimeSource from Platinum Equity

PrimeSource is a global distributor of specialty building materials with 34 U.S. distribution centers and over 1,100 employees; Clearlake intends to use the business as a platform for organic growth and add-on acquisitions in the specialty distribution sector.

Angeles Equity Partners Acquires Custom Goods

Custom Goods operates over 6.5 million square feet of warehouse space across ~25 facilities, a 175+ truck fleet, and serves a diversified base of Fortune 500 and government customers; financial terms were not disclosed.

Pallet Logistics of America Acquires Propak

The deal adds Propak's 60+ locations and roughly 1,700 employees to PLA, transforming PLA from a western U.S. pallet manager into a national supply chain solutions provider and expanding its service capabilities and footprint.
