Old Republic International Acquires Everett Cash Mutual in Sponsored Demutualization

Old Republic International Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Everett Cash Mutual Insurance Co. (ECM) and its affiliated companies following ECM’s sponsored demutualization to convert from a mutual to a stock insurer. The deal is subject to regulatory and policyholder approval and was expected to close in 2026. A later update states the conversion and acquisition were completed after members approved the plan and ECM’s articles were filed on July 1, 2026.
