Colonial Chemical Solutions (a division of Colonial Group) announced the acquisition of Integrity Partners Group (IPG), a specialty chemical distribution platform that includes Chemisphere and Chemsolv. The deal is intended to expand Colonial Chemical Solutions’ geographic footprint and broaden complementary chemical distribution and handling capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Samyang Holdings Acquires Verdant Specialty Solutions from OpenGate Capital

Samyang Holdings has acquired U.S.-based specialty chemical manufacturer Verdant Specialty Solutions from private equity firm OpenGate Capital for approximately USD 250 million. Verdant — a Texas-headquartered supplier of amphoteric and non-ionic surfactants with ~USD 210M revenue and roughly 300 employees — will become a subsidiary to strengthen Samyang's specialty chemicals capabilities and support its global expansion.
