Canopy Capital Partners Acquires Pet Palette Distribution to Launch Pet-Products Platform

Canopy Capital Partners, a Tampa-based private equity firm, has acquired Pet Palette Distribution, a Sykesville, Maryland-based national wholesale distributor of pet products, marking the launch of Canopy's pet-product distribution platform. Canopy named Chris Miller as CEO, said it will pursue growth and complementary product verticals (including pet grooming) and is positioned to pursue bolt-on acquisitions for the new platform.

Polep Distribution Services and Harold Levinson Associates as operating divisions. The new NCD organization reports combined annual revenues of $3 billion and becomes one of the largest full-line convenience store distributors in the U.S., expanding geographic reach and centralizing operations.
