Paylocity has acquired Trace, a San Francisco–based headcount planning startup, and will integrate Trace’s team of seven into its HCM platform. Financial terms were not disclosed; Paylocity said the acquisition extends its product capabilities to include real-time headcount planning and workforce spend management.

The combined business (with offices in London, Boston, Seattle and Tel Aviv) will integrate Graduway's community software and Gravyty's AI fundraising capabilities to scale alumni, mentoring, and fundraising programs.
