Bain & Company has acquired Madrid-based PiperLab, a provider of AI and machine learning solutions, to strengthen Bain's Advanced Analytics Group (AAG) and scale its technology and analytics capabilities across EMEA. PiperLab, founded in 2015, will form part of Bain’s AAG ecosystem and help deliver data-driven solutions to clients across industries including insurance, telecoms, utilities and logistics.

Upland Software Acquires BA Insight

The acquisition (approximately $33.4M cash plus a $0.6M holdback) expands Upland's knowledge management portfolio by adding enterprise search and AI-driven search capabilities and is expected to be immediately accretive to Adjusted EBITDA.
