The deal strengthens Total Access's local presence, brings LA Elevator's technicians and maintenance portfolio into the platform, and includes a conversion of LA Elevator's non-union workforce to the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 18.

Century Park Capital Partners completed a majority recapitalization of Total Access Elevator, a Santa Fe Springs, California-based provider of elevator modernization, maintenance, and repair services, with debt financing provided by Southfield Mezzanine Capital and Gladstone Capital Corporation. Two former Otis executives, Robert Williams and Randy Wilcox, have joined the company as board members and co-investors; the company's four founders/owners remain active shareholders and management post-transaction.

Ontario Teachers' Acquires Majority Stake in Vantage Elevator Solutions

Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board agreed to acquire a majority stake in Vantage Elevator Solutions, a North American designer, manufacturer and distributor of elevator components. Golden Gate Capital will retain a significant minority stake; the transaction is expected to close before the end of 2021 and terms were not disclosed.

Vantage Elevator Solutions, headquartered in Bronx, New York, has acquired BSIS, a New York–based installer of passenger and freight door systems, cabs, cab remodeling, platforms and emergency repairs. The acquisition will integrate BSIS' field and technical services into Vantage's portfolio (alongside Freight Tech) to expand capability and deliver more comprehensive field support and manufacturing services to customers.
