nVent Electric plc Acquires ECM Industries from Sentinel Capital Partners for $1.1B

nVent Electric plc agreed to acquire ECM Investors, LLC (parent of ECM Industries) from Sentinel Capital Partners for $1.1 billion, subject to customary adjustments. ECM, a New Berlin, Wisconsin-based manufacturer of electrical connectors, tools, test instruments and cable management with ~1,400 employees, will operate within nVent's Electrical and Fastening Solutions segment to expand nVent's product offering and address high-growth verticals.

EMCOR Group Acquires ECM Holding Group

EMCOR Group, Inc. has agreed to acquire ECM Holding Group, Inc., a national energy-efficiency specialty services firm headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in an all-cash transaction. The acquisition expands EMCOR's energy efficiency and sustainability services capabilities, adding ECM's HVAC, lighting, water, weatherization and airflow management offerings (ECM had estimated 2023 revenues of $60 million).

Creation Technologies Acquires IEC Electronics Corp.

Creation Technologies completed the acquisition of IEC Electronics Corp., an electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider with strengths in aerospace & defense, medical and industrial markets. The deal adds IEC locations in Newark and Rochester, New York and Albuquerque, New Mexico and expands Creation's capabilities with precision machining, interconnect (cable and harness) and analytical laboratory testing services.

Sentinel Capital Partners Acquires ECM Industries

Sentinel Capital Partners has acquired ECM Industries, a New Berlin, Wisconsin-based manufacturer and supplier of branded electrical products (including Gardner Bender, King Innovation and Bergen) from Genstar Capital. Terms were not disclosed; Sentinel said it will partner with ECM management to build an electrical-products platform and pursue multiyear growth across core markets and adjacencies.

Comfort Systems USA Acquires Eldeco, Inc.

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX) has acquired Eldeco, Inc., a South Carolina-based industrial electrical design and construction company. Eldeco is expected to contribute approximately $130–$140 million in annualized revenue and $8–$9 million in EBITDA, and the deal will strengthen Comfort Systems' electrical segment and local capabilities in the Southeastern U.S.

ISCO Industries Acquires Infinity Plastics

ISCO Industries, Inc. has acquired substantially all of the assets of Infinity Plastics, a Mayville, Wisconsin manufacturer of fabricated HDPE piping products. The asset purchase expands ISCO's U.S. footprint and manufacturing capacity, adding a strategic production location to support increased customer demand across multiple piping end markets.
