Silverfleet Capital Acquires Majority Stake in STAXS Contamination Control Experts

Silverfleet Capital has acquired a majority stake in STAXS Contamination Control Experts, the Benelux leader in value-added distribution of cleanroom consumables, with the deal partly financed by the European Investment Fund. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Heerenveen, Netherlands, STAXS supplies disinfectants, wipes, gloves, disposable garments and laundry services to Life Sciences customers; Silverfleet will support product range expansion, geographic growth and organisational build-out.

Pearlman Group Acquires CleanSource

Pearlman Group, a portfolio company of The Stephens Group, has acquired CleanSource, Inc., a Columbia, South Carolina-based distributor of professional cleaning and restoration supplies. Terms were not disclosed; CleanSource’s founders (the Stutts family) will transition ownership while Jonathan Stutts and the CleanSource team continue operating the business as part of Pearlman’s specialty distribution platform.

Hydroflex, a Buseck, Germany-based developer and manufacturer of cleanroom cleaning systems (PurMop, PurWipe, PurGuard), will expand Dastex's own-brand product offering and accelerate R&D and international distribution to life sciences, labs, hospitals and high-tech end markets.

Stellex Capital Management Acquires Crest Ultrasonics

Stellex Capital Management, a New York-based private equity firm, has acquired Crest Ultrasonics, a global manufacturer of ultrasonic cleaning and welding equipment with operations in the United States, Europe and Asia. Stellex said it will partner with Crest's management to drive operational improvements, accelerate growth initiatives and expand the company's global footprint; terms were not disclosed.
