ASSA ABLOY Acquires Wallace & Wallace and Wallace Perimeter Security

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Canadian manufacturer, distributor and installer Wallace & Wallace (also referred to as Wallace Perimeter Security), which makes perimeter fencing, doors and gate solutions for commercial and residential markets. The Winnipeg-based business (founded 1946) has about 160 employees and C$57 million in 2024 sales; ASSA ABLOY said the deal strengthens its Perimeter Security offering and presence in Central Canada.

ASSA ABLOY to Acquire SKIDATA

ASSA ABLOY has signed an agreement to acquire SKIDATA, a leading provider of access management solutions headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, from the Kudelski Group. The acquisition, expected to close in Q3 2024 subject to regulatory approval, will integrate SKIDATA into ASSA ABLOY's Entrance Systems Division to expand complementary products and capabilities in access solutions.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Roger Sp. z o.o. sp.k. (Poland)

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Roger Sp. z o.o. sp.k., a Polish manufacturer of on‑premise electronic access control systems and related hardware. Roger, founded in 1991 and headquartered in Gościszewo, Poland, has about 100 employees and reported 2023 sales of ~MPLN 42 (approx. MSEK 110); ASSA ABLOY says the deal is accretive to EPS and expands its product portfolio.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Integrated Warehouse Solutions (IWS)

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Integrated Warehouse Solutions (IWS), a Burleson, Texas-based manufacturer of loading dock equipment with about 550 employees and 2022 sales of approximately $170 million. The acquisition expands ASSA ABLOY's Entrance Systems product offering and is expected to be accretive to EPS from the start.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Kentix GmbH

Kentix, headquartered in Idar-Oberstein with about 40 employees and 2024 sales of ~MEUR 8, will join ASSA ABLOY’s EMEIA Division to expand the company’s capabilities in the data center security market.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Sure-Loc

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Sure-Loc, a Salt Lake City-based supplier of residential locks and mechanical hardware. Sure-Loc, founded in 2002 with about 45 employees and roughly $14M in 2020 sales, will complement ASSA ABLOY's mechanical hardware portfolio and support growth of its residential business in the United States.
