DealerShop, together with its partner Resilience Capital Partners, has acquired Total Tool, a Castleton, New York-based full-service distributor and servicer of automotive shop equipment. The deal expands DealerShop's equipment offering and service capabilities across upstate New York, Vermont, Western Massachusetts, and Connecticut and provides continuity for Total Tool's employees and customers under the existing ownership's decision to sell.

Tesla Motors Acquires Riviera Tool, LLC

Tesla Motors, Inc. acquired substantially all assets of Riviera Tool, LLC, a Grand Rapids-based tool and die manufacturer that serves automotive, heavy truck, and military vehicle markets. The purchase brings in-house stamping and die capabilities from Riviera's 170,000 sq. ft. facility and ~100 skilled employees, supporting Tesla's vehicle manufacturing and supply chain needs.

Sonic Group Acquires Sonic Tools USA

Netherlands-based Sonic Group has acquired Sonic Tools USA, its exclusive North American distribution partner, making the Auburn, Alabama business a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal (terms undisclosed) is intended to strengthen Sonic Group's North American distribution network and accelerate growth across the U.S., Canada and Mexico while Sonic Tools USA continues operating from its Auburn facilities under CEO Colby McConnell.
