Container Services, Inc. (CSI), backed by Shore Capital Partners, has acquired Apex Plastics and launched the FirmaPak platform. The combined platform will be led by CEO Rob Goldberg and brings together manufacturing sites in Kansas, Pennsylvania, and Missouri to expand packaging capabilities across beverage, household, and automotive end markets.

ProAmpac Acquires Belle-Pak Packaging

ProAmpac, a Cincinnati-based flexible packaging company owned by Pritzker Private Capital, acquired Belle-Pak Packaging, a Markham, Ontario manufacturer of flexible packaging products. The add-on strengthens ProAmpac's presence in Canada and expands its capabilities and customer reach in e-commerce, healthcare and logistics end markets.

FirmaPak Acquires Lighthouse Packaging

The deal expands FirmaPak’s West Coast manufacturing footprint and adds in-house screen printing/decoration capabilities while retaining Lighthouse’s employees and leadership.

SC Pack Group Acquires Frapak Packaging

Dallas Plastics (Sole Source Capital) Acquires Emballage MPP

Dallas Plastics, a portfolio company of Sole Source Capital, has acquired Emballage MPP, a Montreal-based manufacturer of blown polyethylene film used in medical, food and industrial packaging. The add-on expands Dallas Plastics' geographic footprint into Canada and increases scale and product reach for its flexible packaging business; terms were not disclosed.

ProAmpac Acquires Specialty Packaging, Inc.

ProAmpac, a Cincinnati-based flexible packaging manufacturer owned by Pritzker Private Capital, has acquired Specialty Packaging, Inc., a family-owned paper, film and foil packaging manufacturer based in Fort Worth, Texas. The acquisition expands ProAmpac's paper bag converting capacity, broadens its recyclable foodservice packaging portfolio and extends its footprint into the southwestern United States.
