Container Services, Inc. (CSI), backed by Shore Capital Partners, has acquired Apex Plastics and launched the FirmaPak platform. The combined platform will be led by CEO Rob Goldberg and brings together manufacturing sites in Kansas, Pennsylvania, and Missouri to expand packaging capabilities across beverage, household, and automotive end markets.

Prime Technology Group Acquires Lighthouse Software Solutions

Prime Technology Group, a Frontenac-backed IT solutions provider based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, has acquired Lighthouse Software Solutions, a custom application development firm specializing in legacy support, modernization and integration services primarily for the financial services industry. The Lighthouse management team, including founder Tim Michalski, will remain with Prime as the combined company looks to deepen vertical expertise and broaden application development and managed services capabilities.

FirmaPak Acquires Easy Plastic Containers Corporation

FirmaPak, a Chicago-based blow-molded packaging platform, has acquired Easy Plastic Containers Corporation (Easy Plastics), a Canadian blow molder with two manufacturing facilities near Toronto, Ontario. The acquisition expands FirmaPak's geographic footprint into Canada, broadens capabilities in personal care and pharmaceutical packaging, and keeps Easy Plastics' leadership in place.

Flexpak, LLC Acquires ACE Packaging of AZ

Flexpak, LLC, a Shorehill Capital portfolio company, completed the acquisition of ACE Packaging of AZ on July 1, 2022. ACE, a Phoenix-based value-added distributor of corrugated boxes, stretch film, foam and polybags, will continue operating with former owners Mark Lundberg and Kevin Aldridge in ongoing roles as Flexpak expands its geographic presence into Arizona.

Premium Label & Packaging Solutions Acquires Luminer Converting Group

Premium Label & Packaging Solutions (a portfolio company of Dunes Point Capital) has acquired Luminer Converting Group, a converter of pressure-sensitive and booklet labels with manufacturing facilities in Lakewood, New Jersey and Red Lion, Pennsylvania. The acquisition is an add-on to PLPS to expand its label converting and manufacturing capabilities across pharmaceutical, medical, cosmetics/beauty and other end markets.

Flexpak, LLC Acquires Preferred Packaging Products, Inc.

Flexpak, LLC, a Shorehill Capital-backed value-added packaging distributor based in Woods Cross, Utah, completed the acquisition of Thornton, Colorado-based Preferred Packaging Products, Inc. on February 1, 2023. The add-on expands Flexpak's geographic footprint into Colorado and adds specialized packaging capabilities serving end markets including electronics, instrumentation, consumer products and healthcare.
