Eden Capital, a private equity firm focused on technology and business services, acquired MITS, a business-intelligence and analytics provider serving the manufacturing and distribution verticals. MITS will join sister companies Compass Sales Solutions and Tour de Force to integrate CRM, BI/analytics and ERP connectivity, strengthening the combined software platform's capabilities for existing and new customers.

Harris Acquires Northern Virginia-Based Emtech Incorporated

Emerson has completed the acquisition of Verdant (Verdant Environmental Technologies), a Montreal-based provider of energy management solutions for the hospitality and light commercial markets. Verdant, which was majority-held by Fulcrum Capital Partners, offers smart thermostats, SaaS analytics and monitoring services and has about 70 employees; the deal broadens Emerson's energy management and optimization capabilities.

Emerson Acquires 7AC Technologies, Inc.

MITAR Private Capital Acquires Micromatic LLC from Forest Hill Partners

MITAR Private Capital, an Indianapolis-based private equity firm, has acquired Micromatic LLC, a Berne, Indiana manufacturer of rotary vane actuators, waste tippers and automation assembly systems, from Forest Hill Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed; Forest Hill Partners had owned Micromatic since 2005 and nearly tripled its revenues and earnings during its 19-year ownership.
