Voices, the global voice-over marketplace, has acquired Voices.ai and plans to launch a next-generation developer platform for voice applications that will include APIs, libraries, documentation and cloud infrastructure. The acquisition supports Voices’ push into AI-generated voices and developer-focused tools to serve use cases such as voice assistants, eLearning and real-time synthetic voice applications.

Sabio Group has acquired Fonetic, a Spanish provider of cloud-enabled AI voicebots, chatbots and customer behaviour analytics, to strengthen Sabio’s AI and automation capabilities within its CX services portfolio. The acquisition brings Fonetic’s conversational AI, NLP and voice recognition solutions — which handle hundreds of millions of interactions annually for major insurers, banks and telecom clients — into Sabio’s multi-vendor CX offering.
