Snagajob will operate as a standalone business within JobGet, expanding JobGet's reach to over 100 million hourly worker profiles and giving employers continued access to Snagajob's platform alongside JobGet's technology and features.

Workday Acquires HiredScore

Workday, the Pleasanton, California-based enterprise cloud applications company, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire HiredScore, an AI-powered talent orchestration provider headquartered in New York. The acquisition (terms undisclosed, reported to be in the hundreds of millions) will integrate HiredScore's responsible AI recruiting and internal mobility capabilities into Workday's talent management and Skills Cloud offerings to enhance recruiting, screening, and internal mobility for customers.

Adzuna Acquires Job Search Engine Getwork

Getwork — spun out of LinkUp and led by President Brad Squibb — will continue operating under its brand while integrating with Adzuna’s AI-powered matching and programmatic delivery capabilities.

MatchWorks Acquires Get Work's HR and Temporary Employment Business

Netherlands-based HR services provider MatchWorks has acquired the temporary employment and HR activities of Get Work. Get Work will retain its name and identity, with director Sytze Bril remaining involved; MatchWorks said the deal strengthens its regional HR position and creates an organisation supporting roughly 895 people, 138 SME clients and about 18 national customers. Terms were not disclosed.

JobGet Acquires Wirkn

JobGet, the Boston-based app-first hiring platform, has acquired Wirkn, a Montreal-founded recruiting platform focused on mall, retail and restaurant hiring. The deal (closed May 24) brings Wirkn’s network of more than 17,000 mall, retail and restaurant locations and its ATS capabilities into JobGet’s frontline-hiring ecosystem; Wirkn’s CEO will remain as an advisor and the brand will continue for the foreseeable future. Terms were not disclosed.

Instawork Acquires AbleJobs

Instawork, the San Francisco-based hourly work staffing platform, has acquired AbleJobs, a Bengaluru-based career platform that provides placements and training for early professionals. AbleJobs — founded in 2019 and used by an estimated 3 million people with nearly 35,000 placements and backing from investors including Y Combinator and Elevation Capital — will see its founders join Instawork's team; financial terms were not disclosed.
