A&M Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Alvarez & Marsal Capital, has acquired Asurint, a provider of technology-enabled background screening solutions. Guidepost Growth Equity, which first invested in Asurint in 2017, sold all of its shares as part of the transaction; A&M plans to invest in the company’s technology and expand its service capabilities and M&A activity to drive growth.

WorkWise Compliance, a portfolio company of CriticalPoint, has acquired Bizhaven, an HR and workplace safety compliance provider based in Sacramento, California. The add-on acquisition expands WorkWise's HR and safety compliance capabilities, creating a broader suite of services for businesses; financial terms were not disclosed.

Hightekers acquired Serviap Global, a LATAM-focused Employer of Record (EOR) and contractor-management provider, to expand its direct operational footprint into Latin America and strengthen its global EOR capabilities. The deal expands Hightekers' direct presence to 40 countries (supporting over 3,500 workers globally) and accelerates integration of services, technology, and local expertise across the combined group.

Hirewell has acquired CS Recruiting, combining Hirewell's tech-enabled talent platform with CS Recruiting's specialized supply chain, logistics, and transportation recruiting expertise. The acquisition expands Hirewell's Industrial practice, increasing its capacity to place senior supply chain and logistics leaders and accelerating time-to-hire for clients across manufacturing and distribution networks.

hyrUP, a tech-enabled executive search and recruiting firm, has acquired Evolve Partners, a national boutique executive search firm focused on finance and accounting hires. The deal expands hyrUP's nationwide footprint and deepens its specialization in high-caliber finance and leadership talent, with Evolve Partners' founder Kate Brogden joining hyrUP's leadership team.

Integrum, a private investment firm, made a significant strategic investment in True, the Philadelphia-based executive talent management platform, to fund True's next phase of growth. As part of the partnership Integrum is adding senior leaders to True’s board to support expansion of its technology-led talent, advisory, and search offerings.

Array Corporation has acquired Onaroll, a goals-and-rewards platform that helps employers recognize and financially reward frontline employees. The acquisition integrates Onaroll’s recognition and performance engine into Array’s workforce solutions platform to enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity across Array’s customer base.

High Road PEO and Helpside have merged to form a larger professional employer organization serving Idaho and Utah small businesses, combining payroll, benefits, HR support and workers' compensation services. The consolidation is intended to expand capabilities and regional reach while maintaining a community-focused, high-touch service model.

G&A Partners, a national professional employer organization (PEO) headquartered in Houston, has acquired HRO Resources, an HR outsourcing firm based in the Houston area. G&A will integrate HRO Resources' HR, payroll, benefits and compliance services and retain its Austin-based brokerage as part of G&A Beneficial to expand service capabilities and client reach.

Pale Fire Capital has sold its stake in Czech IT recruitment agency teamIT back to the company's original founders and co-owners — Jan Birás, Michal Tomek, and Petr Kropáček. After six years of partnership, the founders will take full control of teamIT as the firm continues its growth in IT staffing across banking, insurance and other enterprise clients.

G&A Partners, a national professional employer organization (PEO) headquartered in Houston, has acquired San Antonio-based PEOs Integrity HRM and Covenant Services. The transactions expand G&A’s presence in the San Antonio market and fold the two small, locally focused HR/payroll firms into G&A’s platform while retaining client transitions and founder support roles.

Boundless Immigration, a Seattle-based immigration and global mobility services provider, has acquired Localyze, a Berlin-based European global mobility platform backed by General Catalyst and Y Combinator. The acquisition expands Boundless's international footprint and combines U.S. and European capabilities to offer unified immigration, visa, and relocation services across the Americas, Europe and APAC.

Program Productions has acquired Barney Monk, a Cleveland-based provider of event staffing and employer-of-record payroll services, to expand its live-event labor and payroll capabilities across North America. The acquisition broadens Program Productions' family of companies and enhances its workforce management offering (including its ProCrewz technology) to better serve venues, tours, trade shows and corporate events.

Faber Connect (Faber Technologies, Inc.) has acquired Prime Staffing, a long-established construction staffing firm based in Edmonton, Alberta. The acquisition gives Faber immediate access to Alberta’s large pool of skilled tradespeople and allows the company to run Prime Staffing’s operations through its software, driving cost reductions and faster integration.

Austin-based fractional business services firm 512Financial has acquired HireBetter, a strategic talent and executive recruiting firm. The deal expands 512Financial's recruiting capabilities and adds HireBetter's Strategic Talent Planning methodology to its suite of finance, HR, and recruiting services.

WorkGenius acquired the remaining 49% stake in Futurepath GmbH from CARIAD SE, taking full ownership of the specialist talent marketplace focused on automotive software and EV engineering. The deal will integrate Futurepath’s database of ~12,500 qualified candidates and technical sourcing expertise into WorkGenius’ AI-powered contingent workforce platform to expand access to specialized STEM talent across the U.S. and Europe.

Starfish Partners has acquired Huey Enterprises, Inc. (HEI), a boutique executive search firm led by Scott Huey. Following the acquisition, Scott Huey will join Kaye/Bassman International Corp (a Starfish Partners company) as Managing Partner to expand KBIC’s construction and commercial real estate recruiting practice across the U.S. Midwest.

Netherlands-based HR services provider MatchWorks has acquired the temporary employment and HR activities of Get Work. Get Work will retain its name and identity, with director Sytze Bril remaining involved; MatchWorks said the deal strengthens its regional HR position and creates an organisation supporting roughly 895 people, 138 SME clients and about 18 national customers. Terms were not disclosed.

ProRank, an AI-enabled sourcing platform, and Goodwork, a healthcare job board and talent marketplace, have completed a merger to create a combined healthcare talent solution. Caduceus Capital Partners invested $3 million in the merged company's seed round and the combined business will be led by Adam Seyb as CEO.

Hueman People Solutions has acquired Empower Partnerships, an RPO and HR consulting firm founded by MaryAnne Garcia, to expand Hueman's commercial RPO capabilities and launch a new Hueman RPO Commercial division. Empower will continue to be led by its existing leadership team as it integrates with Hueman, increasing Hueman's capacity to serve high-volume hiring needs across logistics, transportation, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.

Upwork announced the acquisition of Bubty and a signed definitive agreement to acquire Ascen, integrating both into a new stand-alone, enterprise-focused contingent workforce business. The deals expand Upwork’s capabilities beyond independent contractors to include workforce management, employer-of-record (EOR) and staff augmentation services for enterprise customers.

ZRG, the global talent advisory firm backed by RFE Investment Partners, has acquired boutique executive search firm NextCap Search to deepen its financial services and investment banking recruiting capabilities. NextCap founders Jill Feldman and Tom Labadie will join ZRG and co-lead investment banking search efforts, enabling ZRG to offer expanded sector depth and broader global reach across executive search, interim solutions, and advisory services.

Paychex has acquired SixFifty Technologies, the legal-technology subsidiary of law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. The deal — terms undisclosed — transfers SixFifty's employment-law compliance and document-automation platform to Paychex to broaden its HCM and compliance capabilities.

Starfish Partners, an investment and ownership platform for specialized executive search firms, has acquired HireMinds, a Boston-based executive search firm founded in 1998 with expertise in marketing, communications, life sciences, and finance & accounting recruitment. The acquisition brings HireMinds into the Starfish Partners family to expand capabilities, geographic reach, and resources across high-growth sectors.

Youlife Group Inc. completed a business combination with Distoken Acquisition Corporation and its ADSs are expected to begin trading on Nasdaq under the ticker "YOUL" on July 10, 2025. The transaction included a PIPE financing that generated approximately $27.0 million of gross proceeds to fund Youlife's strategic development and expansion of its blue-collar vocational training and talent services in China.

Beeline has acquired MBO Partners, a portfolio company of Emerald Lake Capital Management, to expand its Extended Workforce Platform to include high-value independent professionals. The deal combines Beeline's vendor management and extended workforce technology with MBO Partners' independent-talent platform, aiming to deliver a single, compliant solution for managing contingent workers, contractors, consultants and payrolled professionals.

Innovien Solutions, a woman-owned technology services firm headquartered in Atlanta, has acquired The Denzel Group, a Pennsylvania-based IT recruiting and consulting firm founded in 2006. The deal brings The Denzel Group's Northeast client relationships and talent-delivery capabilities onto Innovien's national platform, strengthening Innovien's Northeast presence and accelerating its expansion into federal and healthcare services.

Vangst, the cannabis industry hiring platform, acquired Se7en Staffing & Employment Solutions, a Kansas City–based cannabis staffing agency founded in 2019. The deal brings Se7en's founder Christy Essex into Vangst's leadership team and strengthens Vangst's regional footprint and staffing capabilities as it scales nationally.

20/20 Foresight Executive Talent Solutions has acquired boutique retained search firm Winter Street Search to strengthen its financial services practice. As part of the deal, Winter Street co-founders Lisa DeConto and Scott Vierra join 20/20 Foresight as Co-Presidents of Asset & Wealth Management to deepen the firm's asset and wealth management recruiting capabilities.

UK-based Morson Group has acquired US technical recruiter PTS Advance from HUDDL3 Group, strengthening Morson's footprint across North America. The acquisition expands Morson's capabilities in energy, infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing staffing and brings PTS Advance's offices in Tustin (CA), Houston (TX), Port Arthur (TX) and Orlando (FL) into the Morson network.

Miami-based private equity firm Diatonic Healthcare has made a majority growth investment in Denver-headquartered Quantix Consulting, a 23-year IT and cybersecurity staffing specialist serving healthcare and other regulated industries. The capital will be used to accelerate Quantix’s product and service innovation, support growth initiatives and sponsor future add-on acquisitions; Quantix’s founder and CEO Michael Haase will remain involved following the transaction.

Deel has acquired Safeguard Global’s payroll division, bringing hundreds of Safeguard payroll experts and their enterprise global payroll capabilities into Deel’s platform. The deal strengthens Deel’s ability to execute large, complex global payroll projects and deepens its integrations with partners such as Workday while Safeguard will continue to be supported under an agreement for existing and future international payroll customers.

Phelps has acquired Gallagher’s Canadian Executive Search Practice from Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., expanding Phelps’ national footprint and adding teams operating in Calgary, Edmonton and Montreal. The acquired team will retain local leadership while integrating into Phelps’ national, bespoke executive search platform and strengthening the Panorama network’s North American presence.

HireRight has acquired ClearChecks, a background screening provider focused on small-to-medium-sized businesses, to strengthen its backgroundchecks.com SMB platform and expand technology, ATS integrations, and live-person support. The deal integrates ClearChecks’ technology and customer support into HireRight’s SMB offering to deliver a faster, more integrated screening experience.

PEAK Technical Services acquired the assets of MegaForce, AdKore Staffing Group and The Triple-I Corporation from a common owner in a transaction that closed April 7. The three engineering and technical staffing firms will be rebranded immediately under the PEAK name as part of the company’s strategy to grow its technical staffing footprint via acquisitions; terms were not disclosed.

JobGet has acquired Seasoned, a restaurant-focused hiring and networking platform, to integrate Seasoned's AI-driven sourcing and automation into JobGet's hourly hiring products. The acquisition expands JobGet's capabilities for restaurant hiring and combines Seasoned's automation with JobGet's broader talent pool (and recent Snagajob acquisition) to improve time-to-fill and retention for hourly roles.

CongruityHR, a North Carolina-based Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and portfolio company of RFE Investment Partners, has acquired Total Team Solutions (TTS), a Glastonbury, Connecticut-based provider of payroll, employee benefits and HR services for small- and mid-sized businesses. The deal expands CongruityHR's regional footprint and service capabilities, strengthening its position in the outsourced HR/PEO market.

Kingswood Capital Management has completed a strategic growth investment in Infotree Global Solutions, a Plymouth, Michigan–based provider of international workforce management solutions. Infotree, founded in 2002, has more than 5,000 employees operating in 80+ countries and offers EOR, contingent staffing, SOW and independent contractor management primarily to U.S.-domiciled Fortune 500 clients; co-founders Raman Sawhney and John McKimmy remain significant shareholders post-closing. Kingswood will provide capital and operating support to help scale the business and invest in additional growth initiatives.

Buffkin / Baker, a national retained executive search firm based in Brentwood, Tennessee, has acquired Gallagher's U.S. Executive Search Practice. Terms were not disclosed; the move broadens Buffkin / Baker's capabilities and national presence while Gallagher transitions its U.S. executive search advisors to Buffkin / Baker.

Mitchell Martin Inc. acquired Omaha-based IT staffing firm eMerging, closing the transaction on Feb. 17. Financial terms were not disclosed; eMerging’s six-person team — led by founder and CEO Julie Dunne — will remain in Omaha and the brand will be merged into Mitchell Martin within 90 days as part of Mitchell Martin’s continued Midwest expansion.

24 Seven, a New York–based marketing, creative and digital talent solutions firm, has acquired Toronto-based CORE Resources, a provider of technology talent solutions serving Canada's financial services sector. The deal expands 24 Seven's capabilities in fintech and technical staff augmentation, adding expertise in network security, full-stack development, and capital markets technology.

OneDigital has acquired Human Capital Concepts (HCC), an Indianapolis-based IRS-certified PEO and HR consulting firm with a 35-person team and more than 6,600 worksite employees. The deal strengthens OneDigital's Resourcing Edge PEO platform in the North Central region and expands its PEO capabilities and geographic coverage nationwide.

Workwell Group has acquired Eastridge's Workforce Management and Workforce Technology divisions, including the Payrolling/EOR, MSP and Talient VMS business lines. The divestiture allows Eastridge to refocus on its core staffing and recruitment services while Workwell expands its North American HCM, EOR and MSP capabilities.

AURELIUS, a European private equity investor, is acquiring Lernia, a Swedish staffing, recruitment and training group, from the Swedish Government. Lernia is headquartered in Stockholm, operates almost 100 locations across Sweden and employs about 5,300 people; AURELIUS says private ownership will enable operational restructuring and value creation.

TalentoHC has acquired The PeterSan Group (PeterSan Legal Staffing), combining TalentoHC's customer-experience-driven human capital services with The PeterSan Group's legal recruiting expertise. Hunt Scanlon Ventures served as strategic advisor to both companies on the transaction, which TalentoHC expects will expand its legal recruiting capabilities and create a new growth lane for the business.

Keystone Partners, a Silver Oak Services Partners portfolio company, has acquired CCI Consulting, a provider of HR consulting, executive search, leadership development and career transition services based near Philadelphia. The add-on expands Keystone's talent management and leadership transformation capabilities and broadens its reach across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.

Envision, LLC, a St. Louis–based national staffing and recruiting firm, was sold to a private investor in a transaction that closed January 13, 2025. The seller/founder Steve Lowy worked with Generational Group on the deal; Envision provides contract and direct-hire staffing across IT, engineering, marketing, finance, accounting and HR and also operates a specialized AI practice.

Humareso, a global HR consulting firm headquartered in Vero Beach, Florida, has acquired Rhabit Analytics, a Pittsburgh-based provider of employee performance and engagement analytics. The acquisition will integrate Rhabit's real-time analytics and feedback tools into Humareso's HR consulting and HRO offerings to expand data-driven talent development and workforce management capabilities.

Fractional business services firm 512Financial has acquired AustinPeopleWorks (APW), a fractional HR and recruiting firm based in Austin, Texas. The deal expands 512Financial's HR capabilities and adds recruiting and talent-sourcing services to its fractional finance, accounting, HR, and marketing offerings while retaining APW's client relationships and team members.

GEE Group acquired Hornet Staffing, an Atlanta/Alpharetta-based staff augmentation provider, purchasing 100% of the company’s common stock for consideration including cash and seller financing. The acquisition expands GEE Group’s nationwide staffing capacity and MSP/VMS service capabilities; Hornet founder Larry Bruce will remain in his role and join GEE Group’s national sales team.
