Pelican Energy Partners Acquires Electrical Builders Industries

Pelican Energy Partners, a Houston-based private equity firm, has acquired Electrical Builders Industries (EBI), a St. Cloud, Minnesota-based industrial electrical and welding services provider that specializes in bus duct installation, replacement and repair for power generation facilities. The deal positions Pelican to expand its capabilities in the nuclear energy services supply chain and support increased baseload power needs for customers including datacenter facilities.

Houston-based private equity firm Pelican Energy Partners has acquired Container Technologies Industries, LLC (CTI), a Helenwood, Tennessee manufacturer of containment solutions for the nuclear industry, from a group of private (legacy) shareholders. In addition to a majority buyout, Pelican provided growth capital to expand CTI’s manufacturing capacity and has appointed Dr. Danielle Castley as President to lead capability expansion and serve DOE, DOD and commercial nuclear customers.

Platinum Equity Acquires Majority Interest in Kohler Energy from Kohler Co.

Platinum Equity has closed the transaction to acquire a majority interest in Kohler Energy from Kohler Co., establishing Kohler Energy as an independent, standalone business. Kohler Co. remains an investment partner, Brian Melka will serve as CEO and David Kohler will sit on the board; financial terms were not disclosed. Peli Products Germany GmbH Acquires HVB Kunststofftechnik GmbH Injection and Roto‑Molding Business
