The deal expands Principal’s capabilities in signage and architectural illumination by adding GENLED’s LED product portfolio, engineering expertise, and customized lighting solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Hudson Valley Lighting Group Acquires Sonneman

Hudson Valley Lighting Group (HVLG) has acquired lighting brand Sonneman, bringing the architectural LED and configurable lighting portfolio into HVLG’s family of brands. The deal positions HVLG to expand further into commercial design and configurable LED offerings while consolidating design and engineering resources across its brands; Sonneman’s CEO Andrew Cogan has departed and HVLG founder David Littman will serve as CEO of the combined business.
