Basware, a global accounts-payable automation leader backed by Accel-KKR, has acquired UK-based AP Matching (formerly Statement Matching). The deal adds AP Matching’s cloud-based statement reconciliation platform and managed SAP-focused services to Basware’s invoice-processing suite to improve accuracy, integrate managed services, and expand capabilities for enterprise finance teams.

Basware Acquires Glantus

Basware completed the acquisition of Glantus Holdings plc, acquiring the entire share capital under a scheme sanctioned by the High Court of Ireland and effective October 18, 2023. The deal brings Glantus’ AI-driven audit recovery, overpayment and invoice fraud detection capabilities into Basware’s AP automation and e-invoicing platform to expand fraud-detection and cost-recovery offerings for finance teams.

Accel-KKR, Long Path Partners and Briarwood Complete Tender Offer to Take Basware Private

A consortium led by Accel-KKR with investors Long Path Partners and Briarwood Capital Partners completed a voluntary public tender offer to acquire Basware, resulting in approximately 96.2% of shares and votes tendered. The transaction begins the process of taking Basware private to accelerate product innovation and growth in e-invoicing, accounts payable and procure-to-pay automation under long-term ownership.

Ideagen Acquires ProcessMAP

The combination will create an expanded EHSQ software offering, leveraging Ideagen's global customer base and Hg (Ideagen's majority investor) will remain the majority investor in the combined business.

Payroc Acquires BlueSnap
