Fastfrate Group Acquires ASL Distribution Services Limited

Fastfrate Group has acquired ASL Distribution Services Limited, a Canadian transportation, warehousing, distribution and final-mile service provider. The purchase adds 13 terminals and final-mile hubs across Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and into New York, and is projected to increase Fastfrate Group revenue by about $120 million in 2021 while immediately providing Fastfrate entry into the e-commerce final-mile market.

Echo Global Logistics Acquires Fastmore Logistics

Elysian Capital III LP, together with Fastway management, has agreed to acquire Parcel Connect Limited (trading as Fastway Couriers (Ireland)) from MML Growth Capital Partners Ireland and Woodberry Ireland Capital, subject to regulatory approval. The buyout backs Fastway’s management to expand its parcel delivery and Parcel Connect pick-up network across Ireland and internationally, leveraging the company’s 24-location logistics network and 1,300+ retail agent footprint.
