H.I.G. Capital Acquires CLC Group Limited

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital has acquired CLC Group Limited from the Armitage Family Trust, with the Armitage family trust and CLC management reinvesting alongside H.I.G. The UK-based property and asset refurbishment provider operates roughly 15 branches and offers refurbishment, electrical and fire protection services to social housing, local government, defence, hospitality and utilities clients; H.I.G. intends to support service and geographic expansion and pursue add-on acquisitions.

Creative Liquid Coatings Acquires CK Technologies from Cascade Engineering

Creative Liquid Coatings Inc. has acquired the assets of CK Technologies from Cascade Engineering, completing a planned exit by Cascade from the commercial vehicle components market. The purchase brings CK Technologies’ large-tonnage injection molding, automated paint finishing and assembly capabilities into CLC’s vertically integrated operations and secures customer relationships across commercial truck and bus OEMs.

Wolter Inc. Acquires Cincinnati Crane & Hoist

The acquisition expands Wolter's manufacturing capabilities and product offerings in the crane and hoist market, while preserving CC&H's turnkey engineering, installation, and service capabilities.

Custom Truck One Source Acquires HiRail Leasing Group

Custom Truck One Source, Inc. (NYSE: CTOS) acquired HiRail Leasing Group — including HiRail Leasing, Northshore Rail Contracting and Heavy Equipment Repairs — for $46.0 million. The deal adds over 600 rental units, two Canadian locations in Ontario and Alberta, and expands Custom Truck’s rental footprint and rail customer relationships in Canada; the purchase was funded with cash on hand and drawings on the company’s credit facility.

Descartes Systems Group acquired Cracking Logistics Limited (dba Kontainers), a UK-based provider of client-facing digital freight execution platforms. The consideration is up to $12.0 million (US$6.0 million up-front plus up to US$6.0 million in performance-based earnouts). Descartes will integrate Kontainers' digital freight platform with its Global Logistics Network to expand customer-facing and API-enabled capabilities for logistics services providers.
