Bureau Veritas has signed an agreement to acquire Security Innovation Inc., a US-based software security consulting firm headquartered in Boston. The deal adds ~95 specialists and EUR 21 million of 2023 revenue to Bureau Veritas' cybersecurity capabilities and establishes a new cybersecurity hub in the US; closing is expected in Q3 2024.

Imprivata Acquires Verosint

Sandvik Acquires Verisurf Software Inc.

Sandvik AB has completed the acquisition of Verisurf Software Inc., a US-based 3D metrology software solutions provider. Verisurf will be reported as a separate business unit within Sandvik’s Machining and Intelligent Manufacturing business area; the company is headquartered in Anaheim, California with 44 employees and reported ~SEK 130 million (USD 12 million) revenue in 2024.

Dynepic Acquires SurrealVR to Add Multi-Player 3D Training to DX Platform

Dynepic has acquired SurrealVR, a small virtual-reality platform pioneer, and is integrating SurrealVR's multi-player VR/AR capabilities into its DX training platform (including the USAF white-labeled MOTAR). Oliver Wyman, a business of Marsh McLennan, has entered into an agreement to acquire Veritas Total Solutions, a commodity trading advisory firm specializing in risk, systems, analytics, and AI. The deal — expected to close in Q3 2024 — will bring Veritas' Houston-based team into Oliver Wyman to expand the firm's commodity trading advisory and trading-optimization capabilities.
