Gentell has acquired ManukaMed, a New Zealand-based manufacturer of Manuka honey–based wound dressings, and will rebrand the business as Gentell ManukaMed. The acquisition adds the only honey-based wound care product reimbursable by Medicare to Gentell’s portfolio, expands its manufacturing footprint (including ManukaMed’s U.S. HQ in Franklin, Tennessee and a Kansas City distribution center), and supports capability and geographic expansion into Australia and Southeast Asia.

Solmetex Acquires Crosstex International (Dental Division of Cantel Medical)

Solmetex, a dental waste management and environmental solutions provider, has acquired Crosstex International — the dental division of Cantel Medical Corporation. The deal, announced by Riveria Investment Group, gives Solmetex access to Crosstex's infection prevention and compliance product portfolio and manufacturing footprint in Hauppauge, New York.

BioStem Technologies Acquires BioTissue's Surgical and Wound Care Business

BioStem Technologies (OTC: BSEM) has acquired the surgical and wound care business of BioTissue Holdings, Inc. for approximately $15 million upfront, with up to $25 million of contingent milestone and royalty payments. The deal includes the Neox and Clarix product lines, a nationwide commercial sales organization and assigned GPO contracts, expanding BioStem's access into hospital inpatient and outpatient wound-care markets and adding assets that generated roughly $29 million in 2025.

Argentum Medical Acquires Anacapa Technologies' Antimicrobial Wound-Care Product Lines

Argentum Medical, a Shore Capital‑backed medical device company and maker of Silverlon dressings, has acquired Anacapa Technologies' antimicrobial wound cleansers, gels and irrigation product lines, including the Anasept and Silver‑Sept brands. The deal, completed on December 29, 2021, expands Argentum's wound‑care portfolio and integrates Anacapa's topical antimicrobial solutions into Argentum's existing product lineup for surgical, burn and chronic wound care.

RestorixHealth Acquires CūtisCare

RestorixHealth has acquired CūtisCare, a specialist in multi-place hyperbaric medicine and hospital-based outpatient wound center management, bringing CūtisCare’s hospital and academic medical center partnerships into RestorixHealth’s national wound care platform. The deal expands RestorixHealth’s hyperbaric capabilities and footprint (to nearly 300 partners across 41 states) while excluding CūtisCare’s RegenQuest division, which will remain a separate entity.

Gentex Corporation Acquires VOXX International Corporation

Gentex Corporation completed the acquisition of VOXX International Corporation in an all-cash transaction at $7.50 per share, closing April 1, 2025 after VOXX stockholders approved the merger. Gentex says the purchase expands its automotive and consumer electronics capabilities — including VOXX’s distribution network, EyeLock biometric technology and premium audio brands — to accelerate growth in smart home, automotive OEM/aftermarket and consumer products.
