Recur Software, a US-based software group, has acquired Cognidox, a Cambridge-based provider of electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) software for life sciences, medical device and high-tech product developers. The acquisition will keep Cognidox operating from Cambridge while Recur invests to grow the product and add AI capabilities.

IK Partners Acquires Majority Stake in BIOBank

IK Partners (via its IK Small Cap III fund) has agreed to acquire a majority stake in French tissue bank BIOBank from Verto Growth, Capital Croissance and management, who will reinvest. BIOBank, headquartered in Lieusaint, France, is a leading processor and distributor of bone allografts for orthopaedic, spine, dental and cranio‑maxillofacial surgery; IK plans to support market-share gains in France, accelerate international expansion and pursue a buy‑and‑build strategy.

Ryan Acquires Qvalia's VAT Compliance and Recovery Business (Nordics)

Recover Nordic is a Nordic market leader in property remediation and environmental services, headquartered in Oslo with over 90 branches and more than 2,100 employees; EQT said it will support the company’s digitalization, professionalization and continued M&A-led growth.

IK Investment Partners to Acquire Majority Stake in Eres

IK Investment Partners' IK VIII Fund has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire a majority stake in French employee-savings and retirement specialist Eres alongside Eres' management team and employees. The deal will see current investor Parquest Capital exit (or reduce its stake) as IK and management look to accelerate Eres' development; financial terms were not disclosed.
