The deal transfers FAZ’s optical sensing technology and product portfolio to Optics11 while retaining a manufacturing and sales collaboration with Femto Sensing International (FSI).

Forterro Acquires Orgadata

Industrial software group Forterro has agreed to acquire Orgadata, a German provider of Logikal design and production software for the global windows, doors and façades industry. The deal—subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close in Q1 2025—creates a new Forterro Windows and Doors division and expands Forterro’s manufacturing software capabilities into the fenestration market.

48forty Solutions Acquires Pallet-Ops

Houston-based 48forty Solutions, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity and Summit Partners, has acquired Texas pallet management provider Pallet-Ops. The acquisition expands 48forty’s footprint in Texas (San Antonio, Dallas and Houston) and adds Pallet-Ops’ fleet, facilities and 170 employees to 48forty’s national pallet management network; terms were not disclosed.
