Forterro, a pan‑European consolidator of industrial ERP software, has acquired myfactory, a cloud ERP provider serving wholesalers and manufacturers in the DACH region. The deal expands Forterro’s total addressable market in DACH and nearly doubles the group’s customer base in the region; myfactory will operate as a standalone business under its existing management.

Forterro’s product business, abas Software GmbH, acquired value‑added reseller abas system GmbH (Berlin), adding nearly 40 product experts and a loyal customer base of over 100 manufacturing customers. At the same time Forterro launched Forterro Bulgaria Ltd. as a regional service centre to strengthen support for abas ERP customers across Eastern Europe.

Partners Group Acquires Forterro from Battery Ventures

Partners Group, on behalf of its clients, agreed to acquire Forterro, a pan‑European ERP software provider for SMB manufacturers, from Battery Ventures at an enterprise value of EUR 1 billion. Partners Group intends to scale Forterro across Europe by accelerating organic growth, pursuing strategic acquisitions in adjacent geographies and sub-verticals, and improving operational efficiency.

Forterro Acquires Proffix Software AG

Forterro, a European consolidator of industrial-focused software, has acquired Swiss ERP provider Proffix Software AG to strengthen its presence in the Swiss German SME market. The deal brings Proffix’s modular ERP and >2,500 active customers into Forterro’s portfolio and supports Forterro’s Central Europe expansion and cloud transformation plans for the product.

Exterro Acquires AccessData to Expand Legal GRC and Digital Forensics Capabilities

Exterro Inc., a portfolio company of Leeds Equity Partners, acquired AccessData to combine digital forensics, e-discovery and Legal GRC capabilities into a single integrated enterprise platform. The deal, announced December 3, 2020, brings AccessData’s forensic tools (including FTK) and ~500 employees into Exterro’s offering to accelerate product innovation and broaden coverage across corporate, government and legal end markets; terms were not disclosed.

Forterro Acquires Wise Software (OrderWise)

Forterro has acquired Wise Software (OrderWise), a UK provider of ERP, WMS, TMS, POS and ecommerce solutions used by nearly 1,000 customers and generating nearly £18m in revenue. The deal expands Forterro's presence in the UK and strengthens its warehousing, distribution and ecommerce capabilities as an add-on to its Northern Europe portfolio under new owners Partners Group.
