HKW-backed Xirgo Technologies has acquired the assets and technology of Palo Alto-based Owlcam. The deal adds Owlcam's AI driver-monitoring camera technology to Xirgo’s vehicle telematics portfolio to accelerate capability development and expand market penetration among enterprise fleet and insurance customers; financial terms were not disclosed.
