Playmaker Capital Acquires Yardbarker (YB Media LLC)

Playmaker Capital Inc. (TSX-V: PMKR) acquired California-based sports and entertainment digital media business YB Media LLC (d/b/a Yardbarker) pursuant to a purchase agreement dated July 26, 2021. The deal consideration is up to US$24 million (US$10M cash, US$8M equity on closing, plus up to US$6M contingent/earnout), and brings Playmaker more than four million monthly unique users and 350,000+ daily newsletter subscribers to accelerate its U.S. growth and expand its sports media ecosystem.
