Infracapital Acquires BCTN from Alinda Capital Partners

Infracapital, the infrastructure equity investment arm of M&G plc, has agreed to acquire 100% of BCTN from investment funds managed by Alinda Capital Partners. BCTN is the largest inland container terminal operator in the Benelux, owning and operating a network of inland terminals across the Netherlands and Belgium; the deal strengthens Infracapital's portfolio of sustainable logistics infrastructure.

R&R Express Acquires Load to Ride (LTR)

R&R Express Family of Companies has acquired Load to Ride (LTR), a Denver-based regional and national transportation and logistics provider. The deal adds LTR's fleet of more than 100 trucks, 200 trailers, warehousing and maintenance capabilities to R&R Express and provides a gateway to West Coast cross-dock and storage services.

Wind Point Partners Acquires American Trailer Rental Group

Chicago-based private equity firm Wind Point Partners has acquired American Trailer Rental Group (ATRG), a Kentucky-based provider of short-term trailer rental solutions, from Milton Street Capital with minority/other investors (including Main Street Capital) exiting. Wind Point will partner with ATRG management to expand the fleet and geographic footprint through acquisitions and greenfield openings while management retains a meaningful equity stake.

Penske Truck Leasing Acquires Star Truck Rentals, Inc.

Penske Truck Leasing agreed to acquire Star Truck Rentals, Inc., a Michigan-based transportation services company that offers full-service leasing, commercial truck rental, contract maintenance and used truck sales. The acquisition adds Star’s ~1,900 vehicles and 18 locations across Michigan and Indiana to Penske’s network; financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction was expected to close in Q2 2023 subject to customary approvals.

Alinda Capital Partners and USS Acquire PECO Pallet, Inc.

PECO operates a network of more than 80 facilities and manages roughly 21 million pallets across the United States and Canada, providing recurring, asset-backed logistics services.

BTR brings integrations with 12 EV OEMs and connectivity to more than 500,000 vehicles, enabling faster OEM participation in utility programs and more engaging driver experiences via embeddable apps.
