AXIS (Carr's Hill) Acquires Travis Industries

AXIS Industrial Holdings, a portfolio company of Carr's Hill Capital Partners, completed the acquisition of San Antonio-based Travis Industries, a family-owned provider of industrial painting, protective coatings, and related services. The add-on expands AXIS' soft-craft capabilities and geographic footprint across the U.S. Southwest, deepening service offerings to midstream, power generation, water & wastewater, and manufacturing customers.

Carr's Hill Partners Acquires AXIS Industrial Services

Funds advised by Carr's Hill Partners, a New Orleans-based private equity firm, acquired AXIS Industrial Services, a Corpus Christi-based multi-craft industrial contractor providing scaffolding, insulation, fireproofing, painting and abatement services. Management, led by Founder & CEO JT Maddox IV, will retain an equity interest and the investment will support AXIS' capability expansion and geographic growth across the U.S. Gulf Coast and beyond.

AXIOS Industrial Group Merges with A&L Industrial Services

AXIOS Industrial Group and A&L Industrial Services reached an agreement to merge effective June 5, 2020; the combined company will operate under the AXIOS name and be headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas. The merger combines complementary industrial scaffolding, insulation, coatings, sandblasting and related services to increase scale and accelerate growth; White Deer Energy and Hastings Equity Partners remain majority shareholders of the combined entity.

Fenix Group Acquires TCI Coatings, Inc.

Fenix Group has acquired TCI Coatings, Inc., a Lubbock, Texas-based manufacturer of specialty and high-performance industrial coatings, to expand Fenix’s manufacturing, warehousing and regional distribution footprint. The acquisition strengthens Fenix’s industrial product portfolio and fills geographic and product gaps in Texas and surrounding states; Tonka Bay Equity Partners is referenced in the announcement as the private equity sponsor associated with Fenix.

Terracon Acquires TAM Consultants, Inc.

Terracon has acquired TAM Consultants, Inc., a 15-person facilities engineering and design firm based in Williamsburg, Virginia. The acquisition expands Terracon's facilities services footprint in Virginia and the mid-Atlantic, and all TAM employees will join Terracon while continuing to operate locally as TAM Consultants, Inc., A Terracon Company.
