GitKraken Acquires BigBrassBand (Git Integration for Jira)

GitKraken has acquired BigBrassBand, the maker of the popular Git Integration for Jira app, bringing the two products together to provide deeper Git and Jira workflow integration. The deal combines BigBrassBand's large Atlassian Marketplace user base with GitKraken's Git client and DevEx platform to enhance cross-tool developer and DevOps productivity.

GitKraken Acquires GitLens

GitKraken announced the acquisition of GitLens, the popular open-source Git extension for Visual Studio Code created by Eric Amodio. Amodio joins GitKraken as Chief Technology Officer to lead GitLens and the company’s broader suite of Git collaboration and productivity tools; GitKraken said GitLens will remain free and open source.

The deal expands GitKraken's capabilities for code visibility and review and accelerates its goal to deliver a cohesive developer experience across desktop, IDE, terminal and web for millions of developers.

Pluralsight Acquires GitPrime

Pluralsight, Inc. agreed to acquire GitPrime, a developer productivity analytics platform, for $170 million in cash. The deal (expected to close the week of May 6) will integrate GitPrime's developer productivity insights into Pluralsight's technology skills and learning platform to give enterprise customers visibility into developer performance and outcomes.

Resurgens Technology Partners Invests in Axosoft
