San Francisco-based private equity firm FFL Partners has completed an investment to acquire Medicus IT, a healthcare-focused IT managed services provider previously backed by 424 Capital. Medicus IT, headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, serves over 6,500 healthcare providers with ~300 employees across 30+ states and will partner with FFL to accelerate organic and inorganic growth and expand its mCare services platform; financial terms were not disclosed.
