Atar Capital Acquires Keypoint Intelligence

Atar Capital has completed the acquisition of Keypoint Intelligence, a Fairfield, New Jersey-based provider of SaaS tools, advanced data analytics, laboratory testing and market intelligence for the digital imaging industry. Financial terms were not disclosed; Atar says Keypoint will serve as a new platform to accelerate growth and expand its capabilities in data-driven services.

Sophos Acquires Refactr

Sophos has acquired Refactr, a Bellevue-based DevSecOps automation platform, to integrate Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) capabilities into its Managed Threat Response (MTR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) offerings. Refactr’s engineering team has joined Sophos and its platform (including a Community Edition) will continue to be developed and offered to partners and customers.

Check Point Software Technologies Acquires Atmosec

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. has agreed to acquire Atmosec, an early-stage SaaS security startup that discovers and disconnects malicious SaaS applications, prevents risky third-party communications, and fixes SaaS misconfigurations. The acquisition — expected to close by mid-September 2023 — will integrate Atmosec's capabilities into Check Point Infinity to strengthen Check Point's SaaS security and SASE offering.

GovExec Acquires The Advanced Technology Academic Research Center (ATARC)

Atos Acquires Motiv ICT Security

Mercury Systems Acquires Atlanta Micro

Mercury Systems acquired Atlanta Micro, a Norcross, Georgia–based designer and manufacturer of high-performance RF modules and MMICs, to expand its RF and microwave component portfolio and deepen penetration in electronic warfare, radar and weapons markets. The all-cash purchase (subject to working capital and net debt adjustments) is expected to add approximately $16 million in trailing revenue and be immediately accretive to adjusted EPS.
