Frontline Healthcare Partners completed a recapitalization and growth investment in LivWell Infusions, an outpatient infusion and injection therapy provider founded in Scottsdale, Arizona. LivWell operates ambulatory infusion centers and practice management services across multiple states (Arizona, California, New Mexico, Indiana and Pennsylvania) and will use the capital and Frontline's expertise to accelerate geographic expansion and scale its site-of-care model.

WELL Health Acquires INLIV to Expand Omni-Channel Executive Health Network into Alberta

WELL Health Technologies Corp. has entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire the assets of INLIV Inc., a Calgary-based provider of primary care, preventative and corporate/executive health services. INLIV generated approximately CAD 7.3M in revenue for the 12 months ended April 30, 2022, has more than 50 staff and derives over 85% of revenue from recurring membership fees; the transaction consideration includes CAD 1,609,195 at closing plus a CAD 240,375 holdback and is expected to close in Q3 2022.

Bayou City Hemp Company Acquires LeafLife Wellness

Bayou City Hemp Company, Inc., a Houston-based hemp processing and extraction company, has completed the acquisition of Leaf Life, Inc. (LeafLife Wellness), a Dallas-based CBD retail company that formulates, manufactures and distributes CBD-infused skincare, cosmetics and wellness products. The acquisition vertically integrates Bayou City Hemp’s supply chain—LeafLife will use Bayou City Hemp distillate and isolate—and expands the acquirer’s retail, white-label and online distribution capabilities; the deal is expected to be accretive to earnings.

Curaleaf Acquires Deseret Wellness

Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. agreed to acquire Deseret Wellness in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at approximately US$20 million. The deal adds three medical cannabis dispensaries in Park City, Provo and Payson (combined annualized revenue ~$14 million), expanding Curaleaf’s Utah retail footprint to four dispensaries and its nationwide store count to about 150.

DocMJ Acquires Medwell Health and Wellness Centers

DocMJ, a multistate medical cannabis physician practice headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, acquired Medwell Health and Wellness Centers, a Massachusetts-based medical cannabis evaluation clinic network, in a deal completed January 23, 2023. The acquisition expands DocMJ's geographic footprint and patient services by adding Medwell's Massachusetts clinics and Florida locations while keeping the Medwell brand and clinics operating under current management.

Ascend Wellness Holdings Acquires Ohio Cannabis Company (Coshocton Dispensary)

Ascend Wellness Holdings, Inc. completed the acquisition of Ohio Cannabis Clinic, LLC (d/b/a Ohio Cannabis Company) and its licensed medical cannabis dispensary in Coshocton, Ohio. The deal expands AWH's Ohio retail footprint (its second dispensary in the state) as the company plans to migrate acquired brands to the Ascend banner and continue growing in the state.
