Patterson Companies Acquires Mountain Vet Supply and Infusion Concepts

Patterson Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq: PDCO) has signed agreements to acquire Mountain Vet Supply (U.S.) and Infusion Concepts Ltd. (U.K.) through its Animal Health businesses. Animal Health International, Inc. will acquire a majority of Mountain Vet Supply's operating assets in Fort Collins, Colorado, while Patterson's U.K. arm, National Veterinary Services Limited, will acquire infusion and critical-care product maker Infusion Concepts to expand veterinary product offerings.

Patterson Companies Acquires RSVP and Animal Care Technologies

Patterson Companies, through a subsidiary, has signed an agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Relief Services for Veterinary Practitioners (RSVP) and Animal Care Technologies (ACT), two Texas-based businesses that provide data conversion, staffing and video-based training services to veterinary practices. The acquired businesses will be integrated into Patterson Veterinary to expand its value‑add platform; terms were not disclosed and the deal is expected to close in Patterson's third fiscal quarter of FY2023.

The deal closed April 17, 2025, taking Patterson private; Robert Rajalingam was named CEO and Patterson will continue to be headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The deal expands VetCor's national footprint and combines two multi-location veterinary operators to broaden clinical resources, support services and career opportunities for veterinary teams.

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners (San Antonio, TX) acquired 14 veterinary practices from Northeast Veterinary Partners in a buyout announced October 11, 2022, marking the first time AmeriVet has purchased another veterinary consolidator. The deal expands AmeriVet’s clinic network (bringing it to about 186 clinics at the time) and adds locations across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, California and Maine as part of its ongoing consolidation and network expansion strategy.
