Longstreth Sporting Goods Acquires Kimsports CC (South Africa)

Longstreth Sporting Goods, a U.S.-based field hockey retailer and portfolio company of Roebling Capital Partners, has acquired Kimsports CC, the leading supplier of field hockey equipment headquartered in Knysna, South Africa. Kimsports will continue to operate under its current management with founder Shane Schonegevel remaining to lead local operations; the acquisition expands Longstreth's international footprint and strengthens representation of brands such as Gryphon, OBO, Adidas and JDH across key markets.

Toronto-based private equity firm Reichmann Segal Capital Partners has acquired Athletica Sport Systems Inc., a Waterloo, Ontario-based designer, manufacturer and installer of dasher board systems and sport infrastructure. The seller was Fulcrum Capital Partners; Reichmann Segal plans to support Athletica's product development and geographic expansion while CEO Andrew McRae remains in place. The terms were not disclosed.
