Danaher’s Water Quality platform has acquired Aquatic Informatics Inc. from XPV Water Partners. Aquatic Informatics is a water-focused software provider (serving more than 1,000 customers globally) whose data management and analytics capabilities will be integrated with Danaher’s Hach Claros offering to expand the platform’s hardware, software and services capabilities for municipal, environmental and industrial customers.

DXP Enterprises Acquires Riordan Materials and Florida Valve & Environmental MD

DXP Enterprises (NASDAQ: DXPE) completed the acquisitions of Riordan Materials Corporation and Florida Valve & Equipment Corp. / Environmental MD, expanding its DXP Water platform. The deals were funded with cash on the balance sheet and add new geographic territory (Riordan) and enhanced product capabilities (Florida Valve) to DXP's municipal and industrial water offerings.

MXD Process Acquires Branch Environmental Corporation

MXD Process has acquired Branch Environmental Corporation, a Somerville, New Jersey–based designer and manufacturer of air and water purification systems. The deal brings Branch’s three-decade product and engineering capabilities into MXD’s process engineering and equipment manufacturing platform, with Branch retaining its brand and Somerville operations; MXD engaged Soterra Capital and Neas P.C. for advisory and legal support, while Branch was advised by Norris McLaughlin, P.A.

DXP Enterprises Acquires Sullivan Environmental Technologies

DXP Enterprises, Inc. completed the acquisition of Sullivan Environmental Technologies, a distributor and manufacturers' representative of pumps, valves, controls and process equipment serving municipal and industrial water/wastewater customers in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Financial terms were not disclosed; Sullivan reported approximately $4.4 million of sales and $1.6 million of adjusted EBITDA for the twelve months ending July 31, 2022. The deal expands DXP's water and wastewater capabilities and is the company's fourth acquisition in 2022 (eleventh since Q4 2020).

cleanwater1 Acquires Velocity Dynamics, LLC

cleanwater1 (formerly UGSI Solutions), a Baird Capital portfolio company, has acquired Velocity Dynamics, LLC, a provider of proprietary dry and liquid feed systems for chemistry optimization in water/wastewater utilities and industrial plants. The deal expands cleanwater1’s product and engineering capabilities in polymer blending, chemical feed and bulk handling to support customers facing higher chemical costs and stricter environmental requirements.

Monarch Landscape Companies Acquires Environmental Designs, Inc.

Los Angeles-based Monarch Landscape Companies acquired Environmental Designs, Inc. (EDI), a Brighton, Colorado-based full-service commercial landscaping firm with additional locations in Loveland and Castle Rock. The deal is an add-on to Monarch's PE-backed platform (Audax Private Equity invested in Monarch in 2022) and expands Monarch's service density and capabilities across the greater Denver metropolitan area.
