Novetta Acquires WaveStrike

Novetta has acquired WaveStrike, an Annapolis Junction, Maryland-based provider of software engineering and data analytics for national security customers. The acquisition (closed June 10, 2020) will fold WaveStrike into a new Novetta division to deepen Novetta's analytics and engineering capabilities; WaveStrike's leadership will continue to run the team. Baird served as exclusive financial advisor to WaveStrike.

Pathstone Acquires Eaton Vance WaterOak Advisors' Investment Advisory and Wealth Management Business

Pathstone has agreed to acquire certain assets of Eaton Vance WaterOak Advisors ("WaterOak"), adding roughly $3 billion in assets under advisement and expanding Pathstone’s footprint in Florida. The deal brings WaterOak’s team and technology onto Pathstone’s partner-owned platform (institutionally backed by Lovell Minnick Partners), increasing Pathstone’s total AUA to more than $35 billion and its headcount to about 235.

Elyan Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Stordata

Funds advised by Elyan Partners (Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity) have acquired a majority stake in Stordata, a Versailles-based IT services and data management specialist. The acquisition was financed via a bespoke debt package arranged by H.I.G. WhiteHorse Europe with participation from Caisse d'Epargne et de Prévoyance Hauts de France to support Stordata's expansion and a buy-and-build strategy focused on cloud and cybersecurity.

Vestar Capital Partners Acquires Quest Analytics

Advanco Acquires Vantage Consulting Group

Advanco, a portfolio company of Parabellum Investments, has acquired manufacturing automation specialist Vantage Consulting Group to combine its ARC serialization platform with Vantage’s automation, design, implementation, and validation engineering services. The acquisition expands advanco’s end-to-end offering for pharmaceutical (and food) manufacturers and supports a stronger strategic push into North America and other major markets.
